Equipment Protection PlanThe standard Caterpillar factory warranty typically provides coverage for the first six to 12 months. However, Cat machines last much longer. That’s why so many buyers of brand-new Cat equipment take the extra step of signing up for the Equipment Protection Plan (EPP). Backed by Cat Financial Insurance Services, an EPP “wraps around” the factory warranty and extends coverage beyond the base period. |
Extended Coverage ServiceExtended Coverage Service (ESC) provides another long-term equipment protection alternative. An ESC picks up coverage after the factory warranty expires. It provides reimbursement for parts and labor for covered components, minus any applicable deductible.
