Industrial Paint Services for Your Whole Fleet

The average jobsite doesn’t make maintaining the paint on heavy machinery easy. But it’s an important part of equipment maintenance, both to minimize exposure to corrosion and rust and to maintain a professional appearance.

At Boyd CAT, we’re committed to providing a one-stop experience for customers throughout Kentucky, Southern Indiana, West Virginia and Southeastern Ohio, with equipment sales, parts, rentals and service — including painting and sandblasting services.

If the finish on your Cat equipment or other heavy machinery is rusty, cracking or peeling, Boyd CAT can bring it back to professional, protected condition.

Sandblasting

Sandblasting for Clean, Rust-Free Surfaces

Sandblasting, also known as abrasive blasting, is an easy and environmentally sustainable way to clean the surface of your Cat machines and prep for a fresh coat of protective paint.

How Sandblasting Works

If left alone, rust can corrode the outer layer of heavy equipment and compromise the machine’s longevity. Sandblasting is step one in bringing equipment back to a factory-like finish.

Our sandblasters use a pressurized stream of abrasive material to safely blast off rust, grime, old paint, and other contaminants. This creates a clean, textured surface that’s perfect for new paint or protective coatings to adhere to, preventing future corrosion and helping extend the machine’s working life.

Painting for Protection and a Like-New Look

Industrial painting isn't just cosmetic; it's a critical layer of protection.

The paint on Caterpillar machines and components acts like a barrier against rust, moisture and chemicals, safeguarding the underlying metal and helping prevent expensive breakdowns.

By repainting when surfaces are failing or rusty, you’re protecting your investment and giving your equipment what it needs to keep performing at its peak.

We're Equipped to Handle the Largest Machines

Boyd CAT’s industrial paint sprayer can accommodate a wide range of construction components — even large machines like the 988 Wheel Loader, the D9 dozer and small to medium-sized cranes.

Able to fit tanks, trailers, tractors and other equipment, the machine uses an HVLP spray gun to evenly coat your heavy equipment using your choice of either a medium or high-gloss, single-stage industrial paint.

The results provide the long-term protection you’re counting on and recapture your equipment’s professional polish.
